Anne W. Reed

Anne Reed is a litigation shareholder and jury consultant at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, SC. Anne has consulted with lawyers from many different firms to assist in trial preparation both in Wisconsin and elsewhere. Her jury work has included mock trials in patent, trademark, antitrust, false advertising, employment discrimination, unfair competition, and business fraud cases. Her approach to her own cases is fundamentally shaped by her experience watching juries deliberate to verdict. Anne writes about juries and jury selection at her blog Deliberations.

An alumna of Northwestern University, Anne went on to receive her law degree, cum laude, from Cornell University in 1981. She was an editor of the Cornell Law Review. She is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Wisconsin, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (where she is admitted to the trial bar), the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Ninth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

Anne is involved with and gives back to the community, notably as President of the Board of Directors of Meta House, a nationally recognized treatment center, providing substance abuse and alcohol treatment to women. She also represents clients on a pro bono basis before municipal courts as part of the Reinhart Pro Bono Project.
